On 15 Dec 2005, afternoon, he was hit by a babytaxi while crossing Patenga Road on foot, near Patenga Jetty of Marine Academy, Chittagong. Immediately he went on comma. He never recovered from comma and expired in the evening in hospital, probably due to severe brain hemorrhages. He was serving Marine Academy as a Nautical Instructor. Expired on 6th April 2000 due heart attack. After a succsessful sea carrier he joined Haripur 115 MW Diesel-Gas Power Plant, Narayanganj, on the 1st February 1999, with other five Marine Engineers. He was staying in Uttara with his wife Mrs. Shevana Alamgir and two sons. His elder son Sheezan Ahmed Alamgir Kashfee is ten and younger son Fardeen Ahmed was born on 26 November 98.
