Capt. Sheikh Iftekhar Ahmed (10th) expired (Inna .....rajeun) early morning on 26 October 2006 at Sikdar Hospital, Dhaka while undergoing treatment for cardiac problems. He left behind his wife, one son, two daughters, relatives, friends and a host of admirers to mourn his death.

Capt. Sk. Iftekhar Ahmed (10th) passed away at 0200 Hrs local time while undergoing treatment at Shikdar Hospital in Dhaka for cardiac problems. Asking all friends n well-wishers to pray for his departed soul.

I am deeply saddened to know about the sudden demise of Iftekhar. I have known Iftekhar for a long time since his Banglar Sampad days and I am sorry to loose a fellow mariner like him. I pray for the departed soul and may Allah give strength and courage to his wife and the family to bear the shock arising from this untimely departure of their most beloved person.
