He was my batchmate (30th), one of the very close friends. I remember, I visited his house and had dinner together. He was very frank, cordial and helpful. May Allah bless his departed soul in peace in heaven.

Same scenario could have been happen to anybody, anytime. Specialy during our day to day basis high risk job responsibilities make ourself prone to such kind of incident. We are lucky. But not always.
Felt deep regret for this early loss of our fresh young brother.
Death is everybodys destiny. but it could have been delayed. seems this incident was due to negligence. One should get the maximum possible comfort before death. It is everybodys right.
Can we make something to protect it. Any idea?

You were always funny, intelligent and cool. I  remember the days we used to live in Lion's Den during our Academy senior life. You were a very charming person and cared for your friends. May your soul rest in peace.

Dear Sarwar,.......We would appreciate if you could give us following information regarding Banglar Shourav : 1) Total how many causalities.......injured, dead, missing. 2) Names of the injured. dead and missing officers, 3) Any progress with the investigation as to the cause of the explosion. We are still in dark. Chief Off Zahirul (30th batch) was brought here, but it was too late, the infection was beyond control. He died after 4 days. But if was brought to Singapore immediately, or even was given proper medical attention then perhaps Allah would still keep him alive. He should have been admitted in to an ICU immediately after he came ashore. Only a good specialist could assess the actual situation and could take the decision. Burn victims are different than others, they may look not serious from the outside. Zahirul died because the infection was beyond control. May Allah bless him..........."
