Though late, but I would also like to express my deepest condolence and
sympathy to Nazir bhai's family. I have known him since my joining in BSC in
1977 and we were in regular touch till I left BSC in 1990. Once I relieved him
as chief officer in Banglar Moni in 1985. He was a very warm hearted, nice,
honest, extreme simple, extremely humorous person. His very company was
entertaining and sorted for. May Allah rest his soul in peace.

I had a chance to sail with Capt.Nazir once only as Chief Officer on MV.
Banglar Kiron. I enjoyed his company & many memories still triggering in my
mind. It is hard to believe that he is no more within us.I hope he rests in
peace & his family can cope with the situation.

Capt. Nazir was with me as Chief Officer for a long time on various lighterage
ships. He was a very earnest and sincere worker and a jolly person and always
kept us entertained. I cannot imagine that I shall not see him any more. My
condolences to Bhabi and children - whom I visited few times in their house in
Halishahar. May God grant his soul eternal peace and his family the strength
to bear this great loss. Words cannot console the grief of his family, but
life has to go on. This is the crude reality.

I am deeply moved to hear the news of Capt Nazir Ahmed's death. We sailed on
board
BANGLAR MITA in 1983. He was Chief Officer then. I had excellent working and
social
relationship with him. May ALLAH keep his soul in peace. I convey my deep
condolence to his
family.

I had excellent working and social relation with Capt. Nazir. He was a man of
big heart. After hearing death news of two of my loving seniors I am
imbalanced too. He responded to the call of Allah for which we are also
waiting for the day to come. But I cannot satisfy my mind. May Allah place his
soul in heavenly pleasure. May Allah Bestows reassurance to the beraved
family to bear this pain.

He was my first Chief Officer after I joined as a certificated officer on
board MV. Banglar Moni. So many memories flashing by, it is difficult to think
that he will not be around. His nice wife and lovely son was on board, those
nice days will remembered. Pray to the almighty to grant him heaven.
